      • Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea

Early dismissals

Please submit the attendance form/email/call at least one hour prior to the desired dismissal time.  Submitting a form request does not dismiss your student automatically; communication from you initiates the process for dismissal.  Please have your student pick up their dismissal pass at the attendance office prior to the class from which they will be dismissed. Failure to follow these procedures (i.e. leaving the building without checking out through attendance) will result in unexcused absences.

If you pick up your student from the attendance office, the latest time is 2:30 P.M.

Paper notes

The Centreville HS Attendance Office will no longer accept paper notes from parents to excuse an absence/late arrival/early dismissals.  Please use one of the above methods to report.  Medical notes from a doctor’s office will continue to be accepted.

Pre Arranged Absences

When a student is going to be absent due to a medical procedure, a college visit, or other valid reason, please complete a Prearranged Absence form, gather teacher signatures, and submit to Assistant Principal for approval two weeks prior to the absence.
