Senior Prom- - Saturday, May 15th at Centreville High School

We are so excited to host prom for our seniors on Saturday May 15, 2021 at CVHS.  There is no charge to attend!  8:00pm to 10:00pm at CVHS. Remember attire is your choice, either formal or causal! Everyone signed up may attend during this time & bring their listed guest.

We will have a DJ and refreshments in our beautiful outdoor tent as well as photo ops and areas to socialize in the atrium.  Masks and frequent sanitizing will be required throughout the duration of the event and numbers will be limited to remain in compliance with the Governor’s orders.  If you have questions, please contact the class sponsors, Ms. Heberer at and Ms. Hall at

Senior Laptop & Book Collection

At Centreville HS-- Door 12

  • Friday, June 4 ~ 1pm to 3:30pm
  • Monday, June 7 ~ 7am to 11am; 12pm to 2:30pm
  • Tuesday, June 8 ~ 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Senior Fees and Materials

  • Senior Dues are now available to pay in MySchool Bucks - $50
  • All other outstanding fees can also be found and paid in MySchoolBucks
  • Senior debts must be cleared to receive cap and gown
  • Laptops, chargers, and books must be returned before receiving cap and gown

Senior Award Ceremony

  • June 8th at 4pm in the gym.  Two guests per honoree.  The ceremony will also be live streamed or recorded.

Graduation Rehearsal - Mandatory

  • June 9th from 9am-1pm in the parking lot on the side of the school
  • Students will receive their cap and gown at rehearsal
    • If it rains, we will be in the gym
  • Due to COVID restrictions, unfortunately we are not able to do the senior barbeque so please eat before you come.

Graduation Ceremony- June 11th at 9:30am at Jiffy Lube Live

  • Intent Form All seniors must complete this Google Form to indicate if you will attend graduation.
  • June 11th at 9:30am at Jiffy Lube Live 
    • 7800 Cellar Door Drive, Bristow, VA 20136
  • Graduates and spectators are not allowed to carry bags into the pavilion
  • Students should arrive at 8am and wear comfortable shoes/flats (there will be steps as well as walking to access the pavilion and seating)
  • The ceremony will be about 90 minutes long
  • Students must attend practice (see Graduation Practice above)
  • Ticketing and parking information will be shared when the details are finalized
  • Graduation will be live streamed for free

Cap and Gown

  • Caps and gowns will be handed out at graduation practice
  • Seniors must have paid senior dues and returned all school materials to pick-up their cap and gown
  • Students may choose to wear any school appropriate clothes that follow the dress code under their gowns
  • Keep in mind that it will be hot and we will be outdoors for graduation
  • Please remember to wear comfortable shoes

Vertical Graduation Celebrations - Take a Walk Down Memory Lane

Class of 2021, it has certainly been an unforgettable year!  We are so proud of your hard work and resilience during these challenging times.  As this year comes to an end, you are invited back to where it began.  Graduation is a celebration of your full K-12 journey and many have helped along the way. Your former school(s) can’t wait to celebrate this huge accomplishment with you!

  • Please wear your cap, gown, and a mask on your visit.
  • Caps & gowns will be distributed at Graduation Rehearsal June 9th.
  • Optional – Students may also wear clothing under their gown that celebrates their post-secondary plans (college, trade school, or military t-shirts, etc.)
  • Date: Thursday, June 10th
  • Times: See Sign-Up Sheet -- Sign-up for the school(s) you previously attended 
  • All are welcome to start at Liberty Middle (12:30pm) (including those who may not have attended one of our local elementary schools)
  • Additional school specific details may be sent closer to June 10th. Please remember that all students who choose to participate will be representing Centreville High School. Those who violate FCPS dress and/or conduct codes may not be allowed to walk at Graduation the following day. We know you will be great role models for the younger students and that this will be a positive experience for all.

Honor Speaker Application

  • If you are interested in being the student speaker at graduation, please fill out this form (Due Date: May 7th @11:59pm)
  • Students who apply must have a 4.0 GPA or above
  • The speech should be about 8-10 minutes long
  • Students should be comfortable with public speaking
  • Keep a lookout in your inbox for any callback interviews
