Graduating in 2023 or Leaving FCPS?

Students Leaving FCPS Should Download Their Files

When you leave FCPS, your FCPS Google Workspace account will be automatically deactivated. Once your account is deactivated, you will not be able to login to your FCPS Google account or access any files you have saved in Google Drive.

It is important that you download any files you wish to keep before your last day of school. Instructions for downloading your Google data are on the Google Workspace Information for Students and Parents page of the FCPS website.

You may also have work stored in other places - for example, designs created in Canva, graphic organizers created in Lucidchart, flashcards created in Pear Deck or another formative assessment tool used at your school. Most of these allow you to download your work in another format.

Your access to instructional technology tools that use “Sign in with Google” will end when your  FCPS Google Workspace account is deactivated.

You can check which apps and services use “Sign in with Google” in your FCPS Google Workspace account.

  1. Go to Manage your Google Account
  2. Select Security.
  3. Under “Signing in to other sites,” select Signing in with Google.
  4. Under “Signing in with Google” is a list of third-party apps or services where you use Sign in with Google.

You should download any files you wish to keep from these systems as well.

If you are in a CTE course and need to keep access to your certification results or other data, talk to your teacher for more information.

Please work with the tech support team at your school if you have questions.
